I loved Katy Perry’s “blue carpet” outfit for the Smurf’s premiere in NYC last week. It’s slightly campy and cute. I dig it.
I never watched the cartoons but I’ll probably get around to watching this movie. Plus, NPH is in it.
You know, Jennifer Hudson has been looking really good lately. I know she is the new spokesperson for Jenny Craig and she looks pretty fabulous.
I hope she releases a song that’s both a popular hit and telling of her vocal ability.
Maybe I should go on Jenny Craig…
Update: it seems it may be Weight Watchers that gets Jennifer. Either way, she looks amazing.
Today someone called me Anna Wintour.
I haven’t a clue why they would do such a thing. Hmm…
You guys, I have a confession: I am not a Gleek! [Well, not yet, at least.] I’ve only watched one episode since the show has been on the air! I know, I know! It’s terrible. I just wanted to make sure I watch from the beginning. It definitely seems like my kind of show. I mean c’mon: teen drama with musical numbers. Uhm, story of my life.
Get it? Joe Jonas. Joe-Joe Nuts. Yeah, anyway…
I found this amazing artist João Paulo Tiago (Joapa). He’s created these Lady Gaga “chibis.” [You can enlarge the image by clicking on it.] Which one’s your favorite?
You can check out the artist’s deviantART profile here.
I feel like RuPaul is my homegirl. I started watching RuPaul’s Drag Race when its second season was on the air and I haven’t missed an episode since. When I was a teenager, I used to have a negative notion of what drag queens were and I didn’t want to be directly associated with drag queens. Well, I’ve come a long way, honey! Listen up, gays: embrace your inner queen! The time has come for your to lip-sync…for your LIFE!
I found these tee’s on Logo’s online shop. You can check ’em out here.
Btw, there’s more to come on RuPaul’s Drag Race, so keep posted.
You can also watch all three seasons of RuPaul’s drag race on the Logo website for freeeee!
Oh, and one more thing: DON’T F*#K IT UP!
New music videos are poppin up everywhere! I figure I’d share some with you 😀
Judas-Juda-aaas! Yes, Lady Gaga has made yet another sacrilegious video: This time Jesus is actually in the video!
When I first heard Judas, I thought, it sounds good, kind of catchy. Alright. After listening to it a few times it really grew on me and Gaga’s subliminal messaging totally worked because I loved it! And THEN I was singing along to it and when it came to the bridge of the song I noticed something…kind of strange. You see, the lyrical content was…unusual. I know that the whole theme is revolving around Biblical figures like Judas and Jesus, but I guess I hadn’t listened carefully prior to that moment.
The bridge says: “I wanna love you, / but something’s pulling me away from you. / Jesus is my virtue, / and Judas is the demon I cling to. / I cling to!” Uhm…a little unsettling. What kind of demonic music was I listening to? I love it. She’s supposed to be provocative and controversial. I get it and I’m not offended. It was just a little eerie the first time I listened carefully.
The video came out and I thought it was really good!
Gaga and her weird-ass clothes and funny looking hats.
It was an interesting twist on the twelve disciples.
Was she Mary Magdalene or something? Who knows!
Plus, Jesus is hot.
Check out the video. I liked the costumes and the choreo. There were a lot of sacred hearts everywhere.
You can also watch it on youtube. Oh, that Gaga. I love that sacrilegious bitch!
I’ve always said that if I were born a girl (I mean an actual girl, not like the gay “hey, girl, hey!”) I would have the world’s largest shoe collection. Being that I’m not a woman, I feel I am limited with the shoe selection out there. (Until I launch my drag career, of course.) However, I got some shoes as a gift this year and I love, love them. I think this may the beginning of a new addiction.
These are my new SUPRA Vaider’s (Black Tuf/Black Leather Perf). I totally feeling them. What do you think?
You know, there come a time ever year where children and adults alike are able to explore magic and wonder and everybody gets to play pretend and dress up in costumes and either round up their annual candy stash or follow the “slut rule” and party.
Well, my friends, this year I’m sad to announce I was without a Halloween costume. Last year I followed the slut rule by prancing around West Hollywood, down Santa Monica Blvd in my underwear dressed up as some sort of pharaoh-prince. This year, since I didn’t have a costume, I decided to dress up as a straight guy. (You can check out a picture on my Twitter page.) People were greatly concerned and almost outraged at my costume, but rest assured, kiddies, I’m gayer than ever.
I feel since I have kept under the radar this year, I have to make a comeback with a bang next year. SO! I’m revealing what my plans for next year are. I realize it’s a long time from now, but once you learn what exactly I intend on wearing, you’ll understand.
Boos and ghouls, next year I will follow the slut rule. I will gladly receive help from whoever wants to make this slutty dream come true. My 2011 Halloween costume will be inspired by one of Miranda Kerr’s Victoria’s Secret runway show looks. I present to you: Madame Butterfly.
Yes, I too will metamorphose into a beautiful butterfly. I’m pretty sure it’ll take me a while to crete a really quality replica.
To really get the full effect of the look, watch the video above. Right around the 1:20 mark, you can see Miranda and these wings in action. (By the way, am I the only one who absolutely loves the Victoria’s Secret show? Those girls are so sexy! I want to be just like them. Haha)
I’ll probably wear some sort of boy-short underwear and some gladiator sandals with the wrap up like Miranda. I’m so excited!
So there you have it, kids. I hope that by next year I will be able to spread my wings and flutter!
