Loveit.

Loveit.

Stocking Stuffer

Santa knows I’ve been mostly good this year. I think I totally deserve this.

What’s Up, Doc?

Cartoon Network came out with a new Looney Toons show. As a child, I grew up watching these cartoons and I loved them. I particularly liked Bugs Bunny and I liked Pepe Le’Pew, too. I was surprised and excited to see the classic characters redone and updated for the new show.

It’s not the same show; the new show is focused on the writing and plot in a contemporary style in contrast to the classic slapstick style of the old toons. They’re both entertaining but very separate. The Looney Tunes Show is actually really funny and clever, but in a different way than old Looney Toons.

I’ll always love the old cartoons, but much like with other things in life, I learn to adapt to the changes that come about, even when it comes to Bugs Bunny.

You can check out clips and episodes of The Looney Tunes show on the Cartoon Network website.

I Love Kathy Beth Terry!

Katy Perry has done it again…

Katy Perry released a new music video “Last Friday Night (TGIF)” and it is awesome. It’s super cute and funny. (And it has a few cameo appearances by some known faces.)

The premise of the storyline for the video is that she’s an uncool teen finding her cool. It has a bit of Ugly Betty flair, if you ask me.

Her character is actually really endearing. lol

My favorite part of the video. I mean…

hahaha Need I say more?? Watch the video below. I love this.

Here’s the link to the video.

The L Word: Epic Lesbian Goodness.

In the past few months I’ve been re-watching The L Word with a few of my best friends. I absolutely LOVE this show. It’s on my top 5 favorite TV series of all time. I love the way it’s written, the acting, the directing, the weird lesbian music…I love it all. The show is about a group of mostly lesbian women who live in LA and their relationships. There are solid characters and they all grow throughout the seasons so much. Plus, hot lesbian sex. Who knew I’d be so into it?

I know I’ve mentioned the Real L Word on here before, the reality spin-off, but there’s nothing quite like the original. It’s just so good. Do you watch? The women are simply beautiful. Which one is your favorite character? I’m probably mostly a Bette with some Shane phases. You should watch and find out what that means…

Jamba is my Pleasure

I had Jamba Juice today. You may not know this about me, but I’m not a coffee drinker. I would a thousand times rather having Jamba Juice than coffee of any sort. I like the smell of coffee, but the taste? Not so much. My fave’s at Jamba Juice are the Peach Pleasure (so not an innuendo of any sort) and the White Gummy from their secret menu. (Yes, much like In-N-Out, Jamba Juice has a secret menu.)

(Have I mentioned I love secret menus?)

Shoe Fetish?

I’ve always said that if I were born a girl (I mean an actual girl, not like the gay “hey, girl, hey!”) I would have the world’s largest shoe collection. Being that I’m not a woman, I feel I am limited with the shoe selection out there. (Until I launch my drag career, of course.) However, I got some shoes as a gift this year and I love, love them. I think this may the beginning of a new addiction.

These are my new SUPRA Vaider’s (Black Tuf/Black Leather Perf). I totally feeling them. What do you think?

Move Your Body!

[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYP4MgxDV2U%5D

I discovered this video last week and….I’m obsessed.

I really love Beyoncé’s “Get Me Bodied” song and music video. For some of you who personally know me, you are probably glad that I’m not obsessing over that song/video as much nowadays. However, it seems that Beyonce has put a new spin to her dance track in partnership with the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation. The NABEF’s Let’s Move! Flash Workout video is fun and cute and it just makes me want to dance!

You can check out the video here. You can also check out NABEF’s website http://www.nabef.org.

P.S. I love the little gay boys in the video. WORK!

The rumors of my promiscuity have been greatly exaggerated.

I love this movie. “Easy A” is witty in an intelligent but accessible way. It’s smart without being pretentious, catering to a teen audience with an appreciation for clever humor. Much like “Superbad” or “Mean Girls” or even “Juno,” “Easy A” reminds me of what kids are actually like nowadays. There are a lot of great lines in this movie. Plus, Emma Stone is quite pretty, in an unconventional way. Girl’s sexy with charm. She looks great in her “whore couture” in this movie. Her character’s so cool. So are her parents! Must watch.

A is for awesome.

Someone Like You

Adele’s “Someone Like You” from her “21” album is…so good, for a lack of better words.

I discovered this song a couple weeks back and I think it’s amazing. Adele is a really outstanding artist. “Someone Like You” pulls at my heart-strings.

I heard that you’re settled down,
That you found a girl and you’re married now.
I heard that your dreams came true,
Guess she gave you things I didn’t give to you.
Old friend, why are you so shy?
Ain’t like you to hold back or hide from the light.

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited,
But I couldn’t stay away, I couldn’t fight it.
I had hoped you’d see my face,
And that you’d be reminded that for me it isn’t over.

Never mind, I’ll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you, too.
Don’t forget me, I beg.
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead,”
Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead, yeah

You know how the time flies,
Only yesterday was the time of our lives,
We were born and raised in a summer haze,
Bound by the surprise of our glory days,

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited,
But I couldn’t stay away, I couldn’t fight it.
I had hoped you’d see my face,
And that you’d be reminded that for me it isn’t over.

Never mind, I’ll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you, too.
Don’t forget me, I beg.
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead.”

Nothing compares,
No worries or cares,
Regrets and mistakes, they’re memories made.
Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

Never mind, I’ll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you,
Don’t forget me, I beg.
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead.”

Never mind, I’ll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you, too.
Don’t forget me, I beg,
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead.”
Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead, yeah…

I wish nothing but the best for you two.

Don’t Hate Me ‘Cause I’m Beautiful

I recently discovered a music video that I absolutely LOVE!

Keri Hilson has always been one of those music artists that is there but not quite standing out. WELL…her latest music video, “Pretty Girl Rock” is likely to bring her not only national attention, but more specifically gay attention. In her latest video she’s embodying some of the most famous divas of the ages and you know the gays love their divas. Could Keri Hilson finally be making her diva debut? Let’s hope so.

I love, LOVE this. Probably her best video yet. And yes, she really does look pretty. Oddly enough, I had never really noticed her beauty. Smart move. “Miss Keri, baby!”

[Just in case VEVO doesn’t want you to watch the vid through my blog, you check check out the vid on here]
