Cartoon Network came out with a new Looney Toons show. As a child, I grew up watching these cartoons and I loved them. I particularly liked Bugs Bunny and I liked Pepe Le’Pew, too. I was surprised and excited to see the classic characters redone and updated for the new show.
It’s not the same show; the new show is focused on the writing and plot in a contemporary style in contrast to the classic slapstick style of the old toons. They’re both entertaining but very separate. The Looney Tunes Show is actually really funny and clever, but in a different way than old Looney Toons.
I’ll always love the old cartoons, but much like with other things in life, I learn to adapt to the changes that come about, even when it comes to Bugs Bunny.
You can check out clips and episodes of The Looney Tunes show on the Cartoon Network website.
I recently watched Rio and I thought it was adorable!
It has the familiar wholesome message that we seek in family films and was still funny and relevant. Cute characters, cute musical numbers, and cute story. I think I’m going to download the soundtrack, too. If you haven’t seen it, check it out.
My favorite music number was “Fly Love.” (sigh)
I feel like visiting Rio….and flying…..all while wearing blue. DONE.
Katy Perry has done it again…
Katy Perry released a new music video “Last Friday Night (TGIF)” and it is awesome. It’s super cute and funny. (And it has a few cameo appearances by some known faces.)
The premise of the storyline for the video is that she’s an uncool teen finding her cool. It has a bit of Ugly Betty flair, if you ask me.
Her character is actually really endearing. lol
My favorite part of the video. I mean…
hahaha Need I say more?? Watch the video below. I love this.
Here’s the link to the video.
I found this amazing artist João Paulo Tiago (Joapa). He’s created these Lady Gaga “chibis.” [You can enlarge the image by clicking on it.] Which one’s your favorite?

I mentioned in another post that although I’m not really a sports fan, I found that there’s something wonderful about the FIFA World Cup 2010. The world-wide message of unity, you say? Sure. But more importantly: sexy soccer players!!
Good Lord, it’s like I woke up one day and realized “oh yeahhhh!!” Think of the athletes! Okay, so I’ve been doing some research and believe me, I found some amazingly HOT material. It seems like Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be the poster child of sexy soccer. Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair’s June 2010 issue.
Oh, Cristiano Ronaldo. He looks flawless. Epitome of masculine sexuality. I can already tell this is going to be another one of those posts about sexy men for no reason at all.
Sexy men in underwear? Why not?! lol These are a few of the Emporio Armani shots.
It seems that Rafa Marquez is another soccer hottie.
Benny Feilhaber, Oguchi Onyewu, and Jonathan Spector, all on the American team, are also part of this elite society of hotties.
Okay, so as I was researching, I came across this hottie: Benny Feilhaber. Now it isn’t just his striking good looks that caught me eye. Apparently this cutie acquired some attention on YouTube. He was uhm…lip syncing for his life! LOL watch the hilarious video here.
He’s soooooooooooooooooo cute! Listen Benny Feilhaber, let’s be friends. Contact me. 😉
Okay, having seen all these cuties, I came across one soccer player that I believe has become my favorite.
I present to you: Oguchi Onyewu. He’s adorable!! (Look at that smile! Aww!!) Okay, now he isn’t only cute in a dorky cheesy smile sort of a way…oh no, he’s SEXY.
I hear a black girl in the distance saying, “DAYUM!” Oh wait, that was me.
Onyewu is clapping, and I am clapping for Onyewu.
Look at that man-on-man lovin’. What have I been missing out on?! No one told me this is what soccer included! (Dreamcometrue.)
Okay…are you ready? Okay, I think I’m ready too…
Okay, so maybe I wasn’t ready. I think I pulled a muscle just looking at these pictures. OM(freakin’)G!
(BIG sigh) Wow. I feel like I have a whole new appreciation for soccer. If you like entries like these bookmark my page or subscribe. I [think] write about sexy men all the time! (haha) Yum.
Who’s seen the new Toy Story movie?
I watched Toy Story 3 and I thought it was so cute! I really liked all the characters, both old and new. I thought it was a cute story and the animation was, of course, great. Many people have said this is their favorite Toy Story movie altogether. I found myself actually laughing out loud a few times during the movie. Oh, that Buzz Lightyear. Definitely a good family movie. (That Ken doll was looking pretty fierce with his neck handkerchief, by the way.) I felt satisfied with the ending.
It also reminded me of when I was a kid and how important imagination is. I used to make believe all the time and create little scenarios for my toys. It’d probably a little strange if I were still to do that today…right?
Yay for Pixar! [and Disney!] If you haven’t watched it, I’d for sure suggest you go see it. Take your little sibling, or niece or nephew, or any little relative will do! lol
You can find more information on the movie on the Disney website.
