Mad Me.

So I came across this website where you can create your very own Mad Men avatar. I played around with it a bit, and I’d say it’s pretty spot on.

This one might me slightly more accurate. Hmm, any guesses as to why this might be??

Check out my other creations below. You can Mad Men yourself here.

What’s Up, Doc?

Cartoon Network came out with a new Looney Toons show. As a child, I grew up watching these cartoons and I loved them. I particularly liked Bugs Bunny and I liked Pepe Le’Pew, too. I was surprised and excited to see the classic characters redone and updated for the new show.

It’s not the same show; the new show is focused on the writing and plot in a contemporary style in contrast to the classic slapstick style of the old toons. They’re both entertaining but very separate. The Looney Tunes Show is actually really funny and clever, but in a different way than old Looney Toons.

I’ll always love the old cartoons, but much like with other things in life, I learn to adapt to the changes that come about, even when it comes to Bugs Bunny.

You can check out clips and episodes of The Looney Tunes show on the Cartoon Network website.

Cobie Smulders: A Hot Robin

I really enjoy How I Met Your Mother, but it’s one of those shows that I catch when I can and I may have sporadic bursts of How I Met Your Mother sessions throughout the year.

I saw Cobie Smulders, or Robin, as she’s known on the show, on the cover of Maxim and she’s looking smokin’. She also had a smaller role on The L Word, which I was crazy about.

Robin Sparkles!

Don’t Stop Believin’

You guys, I have a confession: I am not a Gleek! [Well, not yet, at least.] I’ve only watched one episode since the show has been on the air! I know, I know! It’s terrible. I just wanted to make sure I watch from the beginning. It definitely seems like my kind of show. I mean c’mon: teen drama with musical numbers. Uhm, story of my life.

I noticed the cast did a spread for Teen Vogue and they’re looking super cute in their prom issue!

I know episodes are available on Instant Watch on Netflix, so it looks like I shall soon be cured of my Glee-deficiency. Are you a Gleek?

The L Word: Epic Lesbian Goodness.

In the past few months I’ve been re-watching The L Word with a few of my best friends. I absolutely LOVE this show. It’s on my top 5 favorite TV series of all time. I love the way it’s written, the acting, the directing, the weird lesbian music…I love it all. The show is about a group of mostly lesbian women who live in LA and their relationships. There are solid characters and they all grow throughout the seasons so much. Plus, hot lesbian sex. Who knew I’d be so into it?

I know I’ve mentioned the Real L Word on here before, the reality spin-off, but there’s nothing quite like the original. It’s just so good. Do you watch? The women are simply beautiful. Which one is your favorite character? I’m probably mostly a Bette with some Shane phases. You should watch and find out what that means…

Team Coco

Conan

A few people know this about me, but I’m a big Conan O’Brien fan. I watched him do Late Night and the Tonight Show on NBC. I grew up watching him, so I was saddened when he went off the air. Well, he’s finally coming back and is premiering his show on TBS on Monday.

I love my Conans! Yes, Conans. It’s apparently how Arnold Schwarzenegger would pronounce Conan’s name.

I forget who it is, but there was a guest he had when he was on the Tonight Show that gave him the nickname “Coco.” It stuck and there was quite a following for “Team Coco.”

He made a surprise appearance on George Lopez’s “Lopez Tonight” and I was reminded why I love Conan! He’s the adorable goofy late night host with the large red hair. I totally dig his humor. Loveit.

Full episodes will be available on the network site Team Coco. Welcome back Conan! I’ll for sure be watching! 😀

True Blood: Bitingly Good

Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgård were on the cover of Rolling Stone a little while ago and they looks gruesomely sexy.

I finished watching season 3 of True Blood. The whole vampire-warewolf thing is a little overdone everywhere, but for some reason I can’t quite stop watching. Now they’re introducing other mythological creatures into the series; it’s interesting.

I haven’t read the books but a close friend has and there are obviously some changes made. Can someone tell me what’s up with Lafayete and the whole nurse witchcraft? Sookie’s light? The crazy Fellowship of the Sun people. It’s crazy. But it’s addicting! Something that I really like about the show is how they incorporate the 1940’s glamour into the show. It’s subtle and mostly seen in the vampire community in the show. It’s lovely.

I like Jessica the new vampire, portrayed by Deborah Ann Woll. (I can see lesbians really falling for this straight girl. I can see might have the same effect on younger guys). Even though she starts off as a bratty character, I like her growth.

And I also really loved Pam, Eric’s vampire prodigy, played by Kristin Bauer. She’s hilarious and bitingly witty and bitchy. Reminds me of someone I know. Hmm…

I especially loved Talbot, Russell consort; he was especially sexy. His feminine air was charming and I thought he made for a sexy vampire. He was also quite sassy, which you know I loved.

The actor’s name is Theo Alexander, which I found looks quite different than his character in real life.

It looks like I’ll have to wait till next summer to find out what happens next. Oh, HBO, you’re such a tease.
